Earlier this year, we sadly said goodbye to our beautiful baby boy Jack who was born too soon.
Like most premature babies’ families, when Jack came into the world 12 weeks early, we had no idea of the journey we were about to take.
Thankfully we had an incredible support team (our ‘A Team’) – comprising family, friends, Monash Medical Centre staff and the Life’s Little Treasures Foundation – to surround us through the ups and downs of Jack’s 271 days of life and keep our spirits strong.
While our hearts are still hurting for the little man we all loved so much, we are looking forward to celebrating his short life and reflecting on the blessings and lessons he gave us when we Walk for Prems on October 28.
We are encouraging all our precious family and friends who have cared for Jack and us over the past 18 months to join us in the Walk for Prems to remember our baby and help other families experiencing this life changing journey.
Last year’s Walk was a hugely uplifting day and we are really looking forward to seeing an even bigger crowd at the starting line for 2012.
